4870X2 Information trickling in [Updated]

Chiphell seems to have some early numbers on the 4870X2 (& 4870X2 CF) slated for launch next Tuesday. On initial review, looks like CrossFireX scaling is really good (35-104%  improvement) with an average of 66% increase over a single 4870X2. Impressive numbers for launch drivers.

We'll keep updating this story as more websites publish their numbers before the official launch.

Update I: Retailers have started listing the 4870X2 with a price listing of within 5% of the GTX280 price. Also  ProClockers have the product images from Sapphire.

Update II: TCMagazine have published the product images from MSI.

Update III: Diamond Multimedia not wanting to be left out sent us the product images of their 4870X2, scroll down to the end.

Update IV: Tomshardware Taiwan claim that the official MSRP is $549 and have product images from Asus, Force3D, HIS Digital, MSI & Palit.
