According to the latest reports from Computex, the latest word going around is that RV770 is confirmed to have 800 shader processors. For reference, R600 (2900XT) & RV670 (3850/3870) had 320 shader processors. In total there are 40 TMUs paired to the 800SPs. That is 2.5x the amount of TMUs AMD had stuck [...]
